2001
Charity Computers was originally established as a
Work for the Dole Project at Wesley Mission in Sydney.
2002
Mark Dunnett, the founding manager, then moved to
Canberra and established an expanded program
with Canberra Christian Life Centre in March 2002.
The new program included the supply and repair of
computers to concession card holders at cost, as well
as receiving donated computers. Volunteers including
unemployed or people wishing to change careers where
trained in refurbishing the computers for reuse or
recycling computers at end of life.
2007
The national Charity Computers
Australia association was established with its head
office at 46 Lhotsky St Charnwood ACT 2615. Ph 6101

Trading as Charity Computers Tweed Heads was established
commencing with Certificate II in IT training.
